Traditional Cornish Chalets with two bedrooms, situated on the small, family run Gwithian Sands, where around 30 chalets nestle on the edge of the dunes.

Our Chalets are located on the outskirts of the village of Gwithian, Hayle. It is a situated behind the extensive sand dunes bordering Gwithian Beach in West Cornwall. Located at the eastern end of St Ives Bay, between Hayle and Godrevy Point, three miles of golden sand beach make this an ideal spot for the family holiday.

Located next to the expansive, rolling grassy dunes of Gwithian and Upton Towans (a large site of special scientific interest, with abundant flowers, unusual plants and bird life - ideal for nature lovers), providing hours of safe play for children and beautiful and relaxing walks for adults.

A short walk, over the beautiful sand dunes, can reach the unspoilt beach at Gwithian, which is never crowded, even during the summer. The beach is excellent for bathing, while younger children can enjoy safe paddling in numerous rock pools. The beach is ideal for surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing and body boarding. There are many local places of interest and the surrounding area is great for rambling.

The location of our Gwithian Beach Houses is very peaceful and many people simply enjoy relaxing in the grounds of Gwithian Sands during the day, taking in the sun, allowing children (and adults!) to play in the Sand Dunes. In the evening you can relax and unwind on the decking and even dine Al Fresco.

There is an on-site shop and laundrette facilities. Alternatively there are numerous supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants within easy reach.

Our Cornish chalets are furnished in simple yet modern styles with comfort in mind whilst providing all of the expected modern facilities. The large, comfortable living area boasts a fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge with relaxing sofas, comfy chairs and flat screen TVs.

The kitchen/dining areas are fully equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay including cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, utensils, pots, pans, glasses, mugs etc. Patio doors lead onto the decking area, where there is further seating for relaxing and eating al fresco in the warmth of the Cornish sun.

Our Gwithian beach houses have two bedrooms. The main bedrooms have double beds and the second bedrooms have either twin beds (The Buoys & Sunnyside) or bunk beds and a single bed (Blue Ocean). Sunnyside also has a double sofa bed in the lounge. All bedrooms have extremely comfortable beds, duvets and pillows (please bring you own linen) and have good storage facilities.

Parking is conveniently located next to the chalet. Electricity is via a £1 coin meter. Dogs are welcome (except July & August) for an additional charge.
