Green Hill Arts 3.06

Moretonhampstead Development Trust opened the doors to Green Hill for the first time on Saturday 10 December 2011 to a stunning transformation of the old school building into an extensive, mixed-use community resource. The attractive Victorian schoolhouse now incorporates a contemporary art gallery also selling arts and crafts in the foyer, heritage displays and archive, a number of purpose-built artist’s studios, a large dedicated youth centre and offices.

Green Hill attracts a diverse audience to enjoy a programme that nourishes the arts and crafts community of Dartmoor and encourages visitors from far and wide to engage in contemporary visual art.
