We wish to be inclusive of all abilities and provide competitive sporting situations with an emphasis on Fun!

Our Vision:

We are passionate and committed to ensuring high-quality physical activity is accessible to young people within the Barnstaple area throughout the school holidays. We feel it is paramount that sporting experiences are enjoyable, and inspire and encourage young people to enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle by finding something within the course they enjoy and will continue to enjoy throughout their lives. We deliver all sports and activities by adopting a Teaching Games for Understanding to Multi-Skills approach, it fosters creativity and decision making whilst maintaining enjoyment, essential to sustaining physical activity in young people.

We want to use our links with local clubs to increase the number of children taking part in physical activity outside of school, through providing access to enjoyment and competition.

We aim to deliver high-quality physical activities that inspire all young people to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically-demanding activities. GO Get Active aspires to achieve the aims of the National Curriculum and ensure that all pupils:

• develop competence to excel in a broad range of physical activities
• are physically active for sustained periods of time
• engage in competitive sports and activities
• lead healthy, active lives.
