Gloucester, a Wyevale Garden Centre 1.33

In 1980 Major John Eyre built the original garden centre on wasteland that had previously been the site for the historic Gloster Aircraft Company. The garden centre was subsequently bought by Jardinerie and later was relayed in their trademark themed galleries that they were famous for, as well as introducing the first restaurant on site.

In 2002 Jardinerie group was purchased by Blooms and in 2004 underwent a full ground up redevelopment with its large central atrium over a total of 93,000 sq ft.

Gloucester Garden Centre is now at the heart of the local community forging links with local schools as well as providing a destination shopping experience selling a wide range of plants, garden care, tools and machinery as well as an extensive range of gifts and leisure product.

No trip to the garden centre would be complete without a visit to the modern and vibrant restaurant that sells freshly prepared home-cooked meals as well as a range of hot and cold drinks.
