Details

In 1893 two adjacent town houses on Bath Street were transformed by architects Honeyman & Keppie, employing Charles Rennie Mackintosh, into the magnificent Clubhouse which stands today. Over the years the Club has evolved from a world solely occupied by the Arts into a diverse hang out for artists and non-artists alike - a melting pot of people of all ages, from all backgrounds, working in all professions.
Fully licensed, with food served daily in the dining room, there is also a bustling diary of events with everything from live music and Burns Suppers to artist demonstrations and life classes. There is something for everyone at the Glasgow Art Club.
