My business is about capturing the moments and people that matter to you.

I am a freelance female photographer, based in Northamptonshire with a genuine interest in people. I started doing photography work about 7 years ago when my friend ask me to take some photos of their band performing in a local venue. I learnt the art of taking excellent quality live photos of musicians in often low light situations and began life as a event and gig photographer. Soon bands were asking me to do more staged photoshoots for album covers and for social media and so I started to develop my skills as a portrait photographer. As I was developing my skills as a photographer I was also working part time in the education sector as a teacher and already had a history of working with children in other sectors. A local nursery manager approached me to ask if I would consider doing their nursery photography, as they were unhappy with the cost and quality of their previous nursery photography provider. So I developed a simple, excellent value for money nursery photography package, and following the positive feedback from the staff and parents, other nurseries and pre-schools started to get in touch. For me it made total sense to make the natural progression into family portrait photography. I love capturing the joy and excitement in children's and family's faces as they play in the park or go for a long walk in the woods, splashing in puddles or climbing trees. Around the same time as I was starting to grow my nursery photography business my sister got married, and she asked me to photograph her wedding. I was delighted and honoured to be asked to do such an important role in her wedding. She was ecstatic when she saw the photographs and we both shared them with friends and family on social media. Soon another branch of my business started to flourish as I received requests from others for wedding photography packages. I gave up teaching in 2014 completely to concentrate on my growing photography business. I started to join business networking groups to meet other small business owners and learn how to grow my business and it was then when I decided to start offering business headshots and business portrait packages to some of the wonderful and colourful business owners that I met.
