Foodie Friday - Aylesbury Market 2.09

In Aylesbury, we are inviting local growers and food vendors to sell their produce and other goods alongside us at our new Foodie Friday market, with up to 16 perishables stalls in total. We will also be seeking out community and youth groups, artists, musicians, and other entertainers to attend the market throughout the season, contributing to the vibrant, lively atmosphere that make will make Foodie Fridays an enjoyable place to visit and shop.

By making alliances with local farmers and restaurants, as well as distributors, Foodie Fridays in Aylesbury will give customers a combination of "shopping local" and wide gourmet selection previously unavailable. Our Foodie Friday market seeks to provide an accessible, convenient and inclusive destination for all our shoppers; whether they be local residents coming to buy their weekly shop, local workers coming to buy their lunch, groups of school children coming to learn about fresh produce, or members of the restaurant trade coming to discover and be inspired by new products.

Markets will run on Fridays throughout the year from 10.30am-4pm.

We will strive to:
• offer a diverse range of quality British and international produce, which is honestly priced and carefully sourced;
• make the Market more accessible to all members of the local community, by extending the range of produce on offer and improving the physical layout;
• provide an environment where our traders can share their knowledge and expertise to inspire and educate their customers;
• work with social enterprises and encourage new businesses.
