Folly Forest School 2.39

Forest school is an opportunity for your child to develop a relationship with the natural world, to grow physically, emotionally and socially. Through regular visits to the folly, with our small group, and with activities led and centred around each person, we hope to inspire confidence, resilience and appropriate risk taking.

During each session we will come together as a group so the children have an opportunity to talk about what they would like to do and what they have enjoyed.

Sessions could potentially include games, making name badges, rope walkways and swings, knots, fire lighting, foraging, cooking, mud kitchen, bashers, cordage making and natural art.

Children will need to be wearing weather appropriate clothing and bring a cold drink. We will provide a snack during the session and a hot drink if we light the fire.
