Depending on which flight you will be taking to the sky with your voucher flight time; the briefing will be in relation to your personal interests about the simulator on the day and your skill level whether it be you’re a real world pilot or its your first time! Whatever your level your in for a great experience. When we have completed the pre flight briefing and we are ready to go we will enter the flight deck and take a seat in real weber cockpit seats.
Now you’re in the captain’s seat of a Boeing 737 your flight instructor will brief you on the controls and instruments and then you’re ready for departure! Once we are ready on our departure runway following real world procedures you will advance the thrust levers and your Boeing 737 hurtles down the runway. “V1 ,Rotate”, you pull the control column back towards you and the nose of the aircraft lifts to the sky…You’re airborne we raise the landing gear configure the aircraft and you can start to relax and appreciate the stunningly realistic scenery. But you don’t have too much time for sightseeing; you need to manage your airspeed, maintain your altitude and watch your heading just like the real thing!

Whether you’ve chosen your local airport, an international hub airport or a challenging approach where you must approach at low heights while tall buildings are around you or the mind blowing sights of Jackson whole where you must plan a approach to avoid terrain of snow covered mountains as Captain you must keep a cool head. Bradley Instructor and director at Flightdeck Simulator is an experienced simulator instructor on the 737-800 aircraft and a fully qualified commercial pilot with a full frozen ATPL and has been in the aviation life since the young age of 15. He has been in aviation for coming up to 6 years and has a extensive knowledge when it comes to the 737 and the airline industry.

In his spare time he also runs the popular blog called the Aviationist where a community of pilots and enthusiasts are together. Furthermore the page was created to join a community of pilots, to share the same interests, goals and inspirations.
