Fit Reds Programme 2.62

The Fit Reds Programme delivered in partnership with Person Shaped Support is celebrating a funding boost that will see an extension of the scheme away from Oakwell in 2016. This new funding has been accessed through the North East and Dearne Area Councils and will see 6 healthy lifestyle programmes for men aged 35+ rolled out within these areas during 2016-17. The support of both Area Councils will help address the local health and well-being priorities within both areas. Much of Barnsley suffers with high health inequalities and this programme will help tackle male health inequalities, reduce cardiovascular disease, and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.

The FREE 9-WEEK healthy lifestyle and physical activity programme for men aged 35+ is running at the following venues:

Dearne ALC - Starting 18th January 2016

Carlton Community College - Starting 19th January 2016

Outwood Academy - Starting 21st January 2016

All sessions will run 7pm to 9pm
