The Feathers
An elegant Georgian town, situated only 3 miles from the glorious North Norfolk coastline, and welcome to The Feathers Hotel, which takes pride of place in the centre of town. There are lots of things to do which surround the Feathers Hotel and lots of local activities as well as public transport if you wanted to go further afield without having to take your car. There is a Poppy Line steam train to Sheringham if you fancy a day well spent on the beach.


The Feathers has a large, non-smoking bar and seating area, with a wide selection of beers, larger's, soft drinks, fizzy pop and quality wines. It is a place where you can meet family and friends, and have a social get together. Maybe choose something from our bar menu, or from our daily specials board. Children are welcome, so bring the whole family for a meal, or come and try our Sunday Lunch. Alternatively, visit The Plume Restaurant, for a special treat! All ingredients are fresh and local ingredients, and each dish is freshly produced to order.

If you have a function to organise, let us help to take the strain. For smaller parties we have The Plume Restaurant, however for larger gatherings such as weddings, christenings and formal dinners we can offer you the Gresham Suite. We can also host wakes if this is somewhere you would want to consider to have the event. The room these events would be situated in is a non-smoking room, which can seat up to 120 guests.

We have a variety of menus to suit all diets and tastes. Furthermore, we are happy to decorate the room, organise any entertainment and celebratory cakes or toasts. We will even provide a Master of Ceremonies, if required.
