The Kings Heath Business Improvement District (BID) is a defined geographical area within Kings Heath centre where businesses have voted to invest collectively in local improvements to enhance their trading environment.

Since 2008, the Kings Heath BID has driven a vast number of improvements to Kings Heath and has seen increased shopper traffic and greater investment in the area.

The Kings Heath Centre Partnership (KHCP) administers the Business Improvement District (BID): KHCP is a collaboration between businesses, residents, statutory agencies (i.e. West Midlands Police, Birmingham City Council) and other stakeholders (i.e. community interest groups, voluntary groups) in Central Kings Heath. Its aim is to work to provide a cleaner, safer and greener place in which to shop, work, live, learn and invest.
