Enable U Sensory Support Limited 2.04

Many people with sensory impairment experience difficulty with everyday life including communication, accessing information and reduced mobility. This may result in a person becoming isolated from friends, family and the wider community.

Enable U Sensory Support Limited; provide a small team of highly skilled enablers who work on a one-to-one basis with adults who have sight and hearing impairments and/or ither disabilities. Our aim is to enable people to lead full independent lives by offering support tailored to individual requirements.

Our service is available throughout East Kent to people living independently and those living in residential settings.

Support is available on a weekly, fortnightly or ad-hoc basis. Sessions are a minimum of two hours duration.

Our staff are trained to enable people with sensory impairments to continue to do things for themselves in order to maintain/improve their independence.

Our specialist workers offer a professional sighted guiding service and communication support appropriate to a person's individual need.

All our staff are fully insured and have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
