One to one tuition can be so beneficial; for struggling pupils, tutoring can boost confidence and give previously underperforming children a track record of success. I have found that tutoring particularly helps those children who struggle to concentrate in class.
For pupils who are already doing well, tutoring can help with exam revision and revision technique, particularly when preparing for the SATS year or entrance exams.

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher, due to begin my third year as a class teacher in September. I also have previous experience tutoring Year 1, 4, 5 and 6 pupils in both english and maths, both as a boost, and also in preparation for exams.

Almost seven weeks (and longer in some cases) is a long summer, and I want to do something that both keeps me busy and also helps children keep learning whilst not being in school.

For 1 hour a week I charge £15 (some tutors charge as much as £30!)
I will travel to your home or that of a friend or family member's so that both you and your child can feel comfortable while learning.

I would also tutor in pairs for a charge of £20 for the hour (saving each parent £5 each) or in threes for £25 per hour (saving each parent £7 each)
