Welcome to El Azzouzi Childminding! This is a friendly family run childcare business that is registered with the Care Inspectorate, fully insured and a member of Scottish Childminding Association. I have over 7 yrs of experience looking after children from newborn to 12 yrs, including my 5 yr old twins. I am also a fully qualified first aider and have a full UK driving license so am well prepared for emergencies and mobility.
I have always loved children and being the eldest sister in my family, it was a very natural decision for me to become a childminder.
I consider myself to be a loving, caring and reliable person with a deep connection and respect for children and understanding their needs by offering one to one time with each child in my care.
I also feel that my role as a childminder can translate into being a supporter to families with childcare needs. It is for that reason I strive hard to respect parents wishes and preferences for how they wish their child to be cared for. Furthermore, I try my best to be as flexible and accommodating to fit around parent’s schedules.
As for my home, I have ensured that all health and safety regulations and requirements are fully met and reviewed regularly. I also have a dedicated area, specially designed with the aim to provide a fun, educational, creative and cosy environment for children to feel at home as well as engaged and entertained. I also initiate projects and activities to encourage each child to express and create as an individual and also in a group; each activity is adapted to suit the needs and abilities of each child. I also adopt a strict equal opportunities and diversity policy and welcome children from all backgrounds. Parents can rest assured that their child would be completely respected.
As a fluent speaker of Arabic, English, some French and wee bit of Polish, I am more than happy to explore the mother tongue of children from different nationalities to encourage each child to feel confident about their identity.

All contracts can be discussed and mutually agreed prior to the date of service. This is when parents can also let me know any preferences or routines.

El Azzouzi Childminding is all about learning while having fun in a secure and friendly environment.
Children will learn about everyday life through fun activities. These include:

Since we live in a world that is aiming to be greener and environmentally friendly, I encourage children to take part in recycling, gardening, outdoor play and caring for the environment.
I also help children on their way to achieving independence by learning invaluable life skills like feeding,dressing themselves, personal hygiene etc.
I aim to provide your child with a healthy balanced diet by offering a mixture of snacks through the day with fruit or vegetable depends on what they would prefer
I would ask parents of very young children to provide milk, nappies, wipes.
Particulars:
- I have places available for both full and part time children from birth to -5 yrs
- I am available to work from 8.00 am till 6.00pm from Monday to Friday; however, times outside these hours are classified as unsociable hours but still negotiable,
- Saturday & Sunday, most evenings either in the child’s house or in mine, holidays and Christmas.

Fee’s paid in advance by cash or directs into my bank account, and it can be monthly or fortnightly.
