We’ve been training the pros for years, and some of the biggest companies in the UK trust us to train their teams. We are always adding extra courses, to cover new sectors and the latest innovations.

For example we are currently offering you chance to become a Smart Meter Installer. The Government has set a target of 50 million Smart gas and electric meters to be installed in over 27 million homes by 2020. In order to reach these targets, energy providers will require many more Smart Meter Installers, making this an amazing opportunity for you to get a brand new career in the gas and electrics industry.

Only ECTA can help to take you that extra step closer to a new job at the end of your training, and in your new job you can expect salaries to range from between £24K to £28K per annum for newly qualified Installers, with some senior Installers earning £28K to £40K per annum. Becoming trained in smart meter installation offers you a path into the energy industry, as well as a way to climb the energy career ladder. In fact, retraining as a Smart Meter Installer could be the smartest thing you’ve ever done.

ECTA is also now offering the QCF Level 4 Certificate in Gas Safety Management in Non-Domestic & Catering Premises, and the QCF Level 4 Certificate in Gas Safety Management of Plant and Appliances in Non-Domestic Premises. These courses are both aimed at those who work at supervisory or management level and who are responsible for managing work carried out on gas in non-domestic premises.
