This page is a space to show what it is that I do while also to share images and ideas about things that are related of which I like or interest me.
I love handllng stone, working with it, building with it, shaping it or cutting letters or images into it.
I also love looking at stone, either in built structures old and new. The geology and composition of stone fascinate me.
Old buildings absolutely captivate me especially when they are built using dry stone construction principles.
I really enjoy looking at what other people do with stone. Some of the things I have seen here on facebook have been both educational and truly inspirational.
As a stonie I am probably a novice having only taken up stoneworking in 2009 but I do believe that I have a passion and creative spirit mixed with honest endeavour which means I can still make a worthy contribution to this the oldest of crafts..
