We still offer equine assisted learning through term times .
Equine Assisted Learning is a process that brings horses and people together in a safe, natural environment where people have the opportunity to explore new behaviour and skills through interacting with horses.Like humans, horses are social animals, with defined roles within their herds.
They have distinct personalities, attitudes and moods; an approach that works with one horse won’t necessarily work with another. At times, they seem stubborn and defiant. They also like to have fun. In other words, horses provide vast opportunities for metaphorical learning*, an effective technique when working with even the most challenging individuals or groups.

Our Equine Assisted learning centre is situated on a 160 acre farm which is located in the quiet and picturesque village of Burgh St Peter on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.

* Metaphorical learning refers to learning where individuals need to be free to interpret or make sense of learning in their own way
