Launched in 2006 off Brick Lane in the east-end of London, the Duke of Uke opened its doors as London’s one and only ukulele specialist store! We offer a wide range of ukuleles in all shapes and sizes to suit all budgets from £20 - £1000, plus a selection of guitars, banjos, mandolins, harmonicas and other instruments and accessories. We also trade online from dukeofuke.co.uk.

More than a shop, Duke of Uke is a community hub/hang-out and pop-up venue for live music shows, workshops and seminars. We offer private tuition in ukulele and guitar, workshops in banjo and other instruments, plus group-based ukulele courses for the absolute beginner looking to make their first foray into music to the intermediate player wanting to to play more by ear and to develop their skills and musical understanding.

We've taught hundreds of budding musicians and played host to many artists and indie-pop heroes such as Allo' Darlin', Dent May, The Wave Pictures, Darren Hayman, and The Landshapes to name but a few!
