At the Cruise Centre the aim of our Evolving Youth Drivers Club is to educate young people to be better drivers and to give them vital experience before they drive on public roads. At our large site in Eglinton we will have qualified driving facilitators to take drivers aged 10 and upwards** around private roads. All staff are CRB checked.

Statistically young drivers between 17-24 are the most at risk on our roads. European Road Safety research has found that it is not the age that is important for young driver road safety but more so the number of hours that young drivers have over an extended period of time before sitting their driving test. Research also shows that early driving experience cuts road accidents by 40%. With 1 in 5 young people crashing within 6 months of passing their tests, anything that reduces accidents among this group must be a good thing.
