Dreams for Children 2.97

Dreams for Children is a charity which was set up to make the dreams of children fighting life threatening illness come true. Serving Merseyside, we aim to reach children with terminal or life threatening illnesses and provide them with fun activities, days out or special treats. There is a distinct lack of a Wish Granting Charity for children in Merseyside, at such an important time in people's lives, we aim to provide temporary relief of suffering for the child and the family. This is the legacy of Catherine Strickland who died aged 12 of osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.
