Doobie Dog Grooming 2.32

I am John and have set up Doobie Dog Grooming to provide a one to one dog grooming service ensuring that your pet always has my full attention. Dogs are my passion and I have owned and grown up with many different breeds. I currently have two cross breeds that are full of energy requiring long walks each day. I couldn't be without dogs in my life and I am gaining another one as my partner (soon to be wife), has got a pedigree dog that requires regular grooming.
I trained at Bridgwater College in Somerset and have qualified at City & Guilds level 3 in Dog Grooming. I am also canine first aid trained and am currently studying a canine health and nutrition diploma.

I currently spend my time between Ilfracombe and Taunton and will cover all areas between these two towns. I also visit other areas so if you are unsure whether I will come to you please contact me.

My hours of business will be seven days a week and at a time convenient to you. I know how hard it is to fit in everything during a busy week, so to help you, I will provide dog grooming in the evenings and at weekends as well as the usual Monday to Friday.

You may wonder where I got my business name Doobie from; you may have guessed it was the name of one of my dogs, a Saluki cross, who lived a long and happy life.

I will clip your dog as appropriate for the breed or to your requirements. Many owners choose to have their dogs clipped in a style which suits them or the dog . Some dogs with a more active lifestyle benefit from a shorter clip which means on those frequent trips to the park they are less likely to get as muddy or tangled with the undergrowth. Other owners prefer a much more traditional clip which will require more grooming and commitment on their part to keep the dog in good condition.

When your dog is groomed in their own home it can prove less stressful for both you and your dog and most dogs are more relaxed during their groom. Our dogs are part of our families so it's understandable that many owners are nervous when choosing a groomer but my home-call service means owners are free to watch throughout the process and observe the dedication and patience I put in to grooming every dog.
