This shop is the first of its kind in the country. As far as we know there is no other charity that is completely voluntary and funds go straight to research on the Isle of Wight.The pioneering work of Dr. A. Baksi has now been recognised in America and India and is gaining recognition all over the world. the research is based on an education programme to help people to manage their own condition to help prevent the long term disabilities caused by having diabetes.
