Darwin's Rest Cafe and Craft Shop 2.61

Darwin's Rest Cafe and Crafts Shop is the flagship Lochaber GeoPark Info Point. As well as great light meals, coffee, speciality teas and homebaking, you'll find a small Visitor Display and craft shop.

Our Visitor Display tells of the great geological minds around the time of Charles Darwin, and their various explanations of the nearby Parallel Roads of Glen Roy, a jewel in our geological crown.

In our craft shop you'll find a great variety of crafts all made by local artists, photographers, writers and crafts-folk.

The craft shop is a not for profit venture owned by the Lochaber Geopark Association, a registered Scottish Charity, and all profits made are transferred to the Geopark in support of their educational and conservation work in our geological, environmental, and intangible heritage.
