The Guild was originally the Sports Club for the major local employer ‘John Dickinson’. When they merged in 1980 with the Robinson Paper Group, they moved the company to Bristol. They left the grounds however, to the people of Croxley, in perpetuity, for recreational use. Thus in 1987, the current Club was formed for that purpose. The Club is a private members club – BUT it is open to everyone in the locality for a modest annual membership fee and events are often open to all.

New members are welcome, why not pop along?
