At the Cross Keys Eastgate we welcome you to our warm and friendly country pub.

The Cross Keys at Eastgate is an early 17th century Weardale Inn set in the North Pennines, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We're a family run pub and serve real ale, fine wines, and anything else you could wish for - with a big friendly smile. We're also an official stamping point on the C2C route.


Unwind in the main bar or toast your toes next to the fire on a cold day after you've been walking in the local beautiful countryside. We serve local and fresh food in our bar and restaurant. If you have a four legged friend they are more than welcome in the bar with well behaved owners ;-)

If you choose to stay with us, we can offer you Bed & Breakfast in our newly refurbished rooms. Parking is ample.
