Crambeck Village 3.07

Crambeck Village is a pretty village just off the A64 between York and Scarborough. Situated 12 miles northeast of the historical City of York.

Once the home of a reform school, Crambeck was converted to a village in 1989. New houses were built on some parts of the site, whilst existing buildings including the Chapel, classrooms and dormitories were converted into homes. The village has a tennis court and paddocks and has exceptionally well tended gardens and communal grounds. A few original cottages are nestled at the bottom of the hill close to the railway line and River Derwent.
