Driving passions of shop’s success:
Interior design, and the ability to help others be inspired by interiors, is my passion. I simply love taking what others may consider a piece of tired or uninspiring furniture and transforming it into a piece which is loved again, effectively recycling the passions that it possibly evoked at its first inception. Over time this has developed into a thriving business which encompasses all aspects of interior furnishing, allowing me the benefit of complete indulgence in my passion for interior design. I have a social character and my shop has become the perfect outlet for it, having a steady stream of returning clients who don’t visit just to shop, but also stop and talk about what they buy, and seek advice on how best to dress it or apply it within the context of its intended use. As a child I was encouraged to repair and redesign as opposed to dispose and renew, and spent many hours and had a lot of fun redesigning the appearance of furniture in order to recreate it. After leaving school, I chose art college as a channel for my creative energies and, whilst this was many years ago, it provided a good grounding for the conceptual understanding of the possibilities of design creation. I treat my shop as my home and my customers as my friends, and enjoy regular complements for not only the product, but the service with which it is delivered.
