Having been a Royal Marine for 22 years, all round physical fitness was paramount in my career. Within those years, I learnt the hard way on many occasions that fitness is a combination of Flexibility, Speed, Core Strength and Endurance. Core Fitness is all about getting back to the basics in training. Forget about weighing scales, fad diets, and fixating on your shape, concentrate on building Core Strength, Flexibility, Speed and Endurance. When you start seeing these improving your confidence and body will start changing. The Military fitness endurance training I run on a Wednesday evening at West Park, Long Eaton, 7-8pm concentrates on these four principles incorporating military style motivation and some fun thrown in!
