Community Furniture Store - Scarborough 3.19

We aim to encourage people to think how items they no longer want can be re-used rather than thrown away which adds to landfill. The Store will be seeking donations of re-usable furniture and other household goods.

Based at the former SOFA warehouse on Salisbury Street in Scarborough, the Store will open to the general public and sell a wide range of items.

To help people most in need, which is another of our charitable aims, discounted prices will be available for households on low incomes.

We stock a wide range of used furniture and white goods at very reasonable prices.

To ensure a constant supply we will shortly be stocking a low cost range of new beds, fridges, freezers, washers, driers and gas and electric cookers and some other goods.

We operate a 2 level pricing system whereby those in most need (which includes anyone receiving a means tested benefit, and students) are able to buy at an even lower price than the general public.

If you wish to buy at reduced prices, please bring evidence of your eligibility with you when you visit our store.
