Our page is, like our business, about pure hard core gardening! We love plants and making them grow and work together. We've been at it a long time now [the business dates back to the 1920's - but we're a bit younger!]. Actually, we have been here since 1983 and have been involved in TV [our own regional programme], radio, lecturing, blogging, demonstrating and writing for papers...in fact any way we can share our knowledge. We have been the Bristol Partner Nursery with the Royal Horticultural Society for many years and organise events here for them. We grow over 65% of the hardy plants we sell and we source the rest from as local as possible. You see we are family owned and truly independent.

Since the start of 2014 the Café at Cleeve Nursery and Garden Centre is back under our own management. Re-named The Box Tree Café it has already picked up an amazing accolade! We have many rave reviews but were particularly delighted by this one –

The Daily Telegraph [Saturday 25th 2014] has placed the Box Tree Café at Cleeve Nursery amongst it’s Top 25 Gourmet Garden Centres in Britain!

Opening times for The Box Tree café are 10.30am - 4pm 7 days a week.
