To provide the advice people need for the problems they face.
To improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives
Our service is free, confidential and open to everyone in the community. Staff are trained on virtually any issue, including:
Welfare Benefits
Money and Credit problems
Employment
Housing
Consumer Rights
Family and Personal issues.
We arm you with all the facts and possible outcomes of difefrent options. That way you can make the decision that's right for you. If needed, we can also offer practical support such as help with filling in forms, writing letters or negotiating with third parties.
We have specialist welafre benefit and debt caseworkers based in both of our offices
Our drop in advice sessions are available at the following times:
Whitehaven
Monday: 14:00 - 18:00
Tuesday and Thursday: 09:30 - 12:30
Millom:
Monday: 10:00 - 14:00
Thursday: 09:00 - 15:00
