Christmas wishes 2.89

Christmas Wishes launched a Christmas toy appeal. For the children of hurstpierpoint, burgess hill and Hassocks areas in 2013
They had a Xmas party a week before Christmas where all the children would be invited to come and meet Santa, watch a show and have a party tea.
The mums also get to receive a small gift .
We also try and get local businesses to join in and come and do things like face painting, hair and nails etc.
We Also need helpers for at the party.
Toy wrappers as there are a lot of toys to wrap and of course a hall to hold the party in.
2013 was our first year and managed to help 20 families who would otherwise not have had many presents on Xmas day. Also a few mums got a Xmas dinner hamper so they could enjoy a festive dinner like the rest of us do.
Many thanks for all your help as this does involve a lot of people to make it work.

We now have added a food pantry as families are needing food help during the year as many people are waiting up to a year for some benefits to come through.
Christmas 2017 fundraising is already underway.
