***An original piece of furniture***
The furniture that I refurbish and paint are original piece's that may have expected signs of wear, however all my pieces are structurally sound and in beautiful condition. Any signs of wear simply add to the character of the pieces. I only work on pieces I would love to have in my own home.

***Painting with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint***
Over the last several years I have painted many pieces for my own home and homes of clients, I very quickly realised that Annie Sloan Chalk Paint was the paint I wanted to work with, I absolutely love the stunning results I get from it and the quality is exactly what I want within my own home. I love the rustic look you get with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I have always been inspired by the interiors you find in both the English and French Countryside. My style with painting is very relaxed, yet I am very precise to achieve the look that I want. Annie Sloan Chalk Paint has a beautiful texture, you will see some gentle brush strokes and some distressing on all of my pieces. After painting I use Annie Sloan waxes that give a lovely soft sheen and offer protection to the paint. As with all painted furniture, it can get some knocks over time, however with the piece having some distressing, if you do knock your piece by accident then this will all help add to the character.
