In your darkest time, we can help you to find the light.

If you have experienced the loss of a child, we understand how devastating and heart breaking this can be.

When grief is all consuming and when there seems there can be no tomorrow, we can help you to find the strength to face each day.

With compassion, empathy and without judgement, we will support you during your most difficult of times.

Aimed at supporting bereaved families, we hold, at our core, the Muslim belief that all children enter Heaven (Jannah in Arabic).

This belief is the guiding light that helps us to provide support through a faith perspective and education to thousands of families in the UK and beyond, who have been affected by the tragic loss of a child.

Our services are centred around supporting bereaved parents, raising awareness through education and training and, ultimately, providing comfort to those in need.

At your darkest times, when you need a shoulder to lean on and a hand to lead the way, we are here.

After the sad loss of the nephew of our founder, Hafizah Ismail, Children of Jannah began.

Touched by loss and grief, Hafizah set out to establish the first charity especially for Muslim parents who have experienced the death of a beloved child.

Since our beginnings in 2011, we have grown rapidly to become a widely praised charity, making progress and providing essential support and comfort to many parents and families.

Today, we operate across the UK and internationally. We have a dedicated volunteer network and offer a range of resources, training and bereavement support services.

WE BELIEVE IN LIFE AFTER LOSS.

OUR MISSION & VISION

At Children of Jannah, we started with a mission and despite our rapid growth, that mission is still the same as it was the day we began.

Our mission is to meet the needs of grieving families in the UK and beyond by providing practical, emotional and spiritual support.

We believe that by educating families, friends and professionals we can raise awareness of loss and grief to better support those who have suffered the devastation of losing a child.

We continue to fulfil our mission from that very first phone call, to the amazing support network, resources and training that we offer today.

At the centre of our mission is our vision and this is our guiding light in all that we do.

We are driven by our passion and desire to see a future where bereaved parents and families have access to the support and education that they need, at the time that they need it most.

Our trained staff and volunteers are helping us to realise this vision every day and we continue to work, support and educate hundreds of people affected by grief and loss.
