Chester Regatta a cooperative effort by all the Chester rowing clubs, GRC, RCRC, QPHSRC, KSCBC and Rex. Run entirely by volunteers, including the umpires, our aim is to provide a fun, exciting regatta on the splendid river Dee, one of the very best rivers to row on. Chester Regatta start with a Time Trial over 1800m for all adult racing, with all subsequent side-by-side racing taking place over 750m between The Red House and the Earl's Eye. The Regatta Ground is at Sandy Lane Park. All competitors must part at Bishops High School on Vaughans Lane (CH3 5XF) only 5 minutes walk to the Regatta Ground through a pedestrian / cycle path, see map on our website. Please do not park in Walmoor Park on pain of death. Depending on entries, racing will start at 9am and end around 6pm. The main Prize Giving with the Lord Mayor of Chester as Admiral of the Dee starts at 4pm.
