WHAT IS SEMI-PERMANENT MAKE UP/MICRO PIGMENTATION?

Semi-Permanent Make Up is both safe and medically approved, it is similar to traditional tattoo, what makes is different? Rather than ink we deposit hypo-allergenic pigments into the dermal layer of the skin, we work at a depth of no more than 1mm into skin, traditional tattoo is 3mm below. Procedure last 18 months to 3 years, with annual top ups for colour depth. The pigments we use are natural iron oxide and non reactive, however a full consultation and patch test for pigment and topical anaesthetic is required. We use a digital machine with hand piece and one use sterile needles. Hygiene comfort and care of the client is a paramount to us, we follow Glasgow’s City Councils Licence regulations and conditions at all times. This state of the art treatment is a hit with many celebrities who hate been photographed without their makeup, so what’s good enough for them is good enough for us! WHAT TREATMENTS ARE AVAILABLE?

Eyebrows – Hair stroke, powder. For missing gaps, over plucked, sparse, symmetry, definition, youthful appearance, unable to see visually, for colour depth.
Eyes - Eyelash enhancement, eye liner. Defined eyes, enhance colour of eyes, un steady hand.
Lips - lip liner, Full lip colour, lip blush. Symmetry, permanent favourite colour, small lips, for fuller lips, alternative to fillers.

IS IT PAINFUL AND WHAT WILL I EXPECT AFTERWARDS?
Clients may experience slight discomfort some might not and often familiarise it with threading technique. We use a very effective anaesthetic to numb area before hand and also top it up during procedure, our needles are best in market creating less trauma, bleeding and bruising. All procedures are two part. The second within 8 weeks, of first initial treatment. The colour will be 40-50% darker after first treatment. Clients may experience redness, tightness, tenderness, flaking and scabbing within week after treatment. Area needs to be kept free from makeup, products, saunas, sun beds and chlorine. It is important clients follow aftercare to prevent risk of infection and to keep their new Make Up lasting longer.
