The world is becoming ever more complex and demanding, the pressures
facing your child are inevitably going to be greater than those which
confronted you. Children are born with a certain amount of natural
ability to help them through life but their environment will be the allimportant factor that determines the extent of their success.
Within our nurseries, children experience the support needed to enable
them to reach their full potential and give them the best possible start
in life. We understand the importance of giving babies and your children
a secure, healthy and loving environment enabling them to develop with
confidence, self-esteem and independence to face future challenges.
The home and, later on, school will probably be the two most important
settings affecting your child, but obviously there are others that can
have a positive influence. Chapter One Childcare nurseries provide
opportunities for learning and educational development, but will also help
your child to cultivate social skills and this is perhaps just as important.
Children need to be included and have a sense of belonging – a feeling of
being welcome and of being important and valued if they are to feel
happy and thrive.
