Celebration Gift Cakes 3.27

I have a passion for baking and decorating cakes which has lead to me opening Celebration Gift Cakes. I am registered with environmental health and have a 5* food hygiene rating from them. I also have my food hygiene level 2 certificate, I have passed food allergy online training, I completed and passed a Cake Making Business Diploma and was awarded a Pretty Witty Cakes award in 2014, crowned Delicious Alchemy Gluten Free Magic Bake Off Champion 2015 and won Dr. Oetker's best Free From bake. I am also fully insured, if anyone would like a gluten free cake I fully understand about the importance of gluten free ingredients and the safety of no cross contamination as I have been Coeliac for 11 years, Cakes are available to pick up from Moorfields, Liverpool. I make sweet cones and confectionary products which can be picked up or posted, postage prices would depend on the location you would like them sent to. Cakes:
I use only the finest ingredients which are all fresh and my most popular flavour is my vanilla sponge cake with strawberry jam and butter cream. Other fillings are available on request.- lemon sponge with zesty lemon buttercream, chocolate cake with chocolate fudge buttercream, coffee cake with coffee buttercream or coconut cake with coconut buttercream.
Orders:
I require a minimum of 2-3 week’s notice on all celebration cakes, and 3-4 months for wedding cakes. Please order as early as you can to secure the date/your order.
For wedding cakes in particular, it would be advisable for you to make a personal appointment and have a wedding cake tasting consultation with me to discuss and plan your cake.
Payment Terms
Deposits:
For wedding cakes I require a deposit (non-refundable) on placing your order. For all other celebration cakes a deposit of 50% (non- refundable) of the cost of your cake will be required on placing your order and this can be paid by bank transfer or cheque with the remaining balance normally being payable on collection (cash only).
Balances:
Balances on wedding cakes need to be paid 2-3 weeks before your wedding date. I also need to receive your hand signed wedding contract back at least 3 weeks before your wedding date otherwise I cannot make your cake.
Delivery
Collection/Delivery Options:
Celebration cakes are pick up only from Moorfields. If you have ordered a wedding cake it can be delivered to your venue only if it is local. I will normally charge for delivery depending on the location and set up charges may be added. I will agree the charge with you during order confirmation.
Wedding cakes can be delivered to a venue the evening before the wedding and left at the venue for their staff to set up subject to prior arrangement with the venue or they can be delivered the day of the wedding. Once your cake has been delivered I will accept no liability for any damage.
Cake Stands:
If you hire a cake stand from me it can be paid for on collection and a cash deposit will also be payable; this is refunded upon safe return of the stand with no damage.
Please note it is your responsibility to return cake stands to me within 4 days from delivery. After such time I may need to purchase replacements and your deposit will be lost. Stands may be kept for longer by prior arrangement only and may incur further charges at my discretion.
Cancellation:
If you are unfortunate enough to have to cancel your order, the deposit is non-refundable. If the full balance has been paid in advance, thus authorizing me to complete the work there will be no refund given.
Cake Storage & Shelf Life:
All cakes should be stored in a cool place on a flat, sturdy surface but NOT in a fridge. Sponge cakes will keep for one week after delivery if they are covered in fondant icing. Cupcakes should be eaten within 2 days.
My declaration to you the customer:
I will make every effort possible to ensure your cake exceeds your expectations. However, sometimes a finished product may differ slightly as each cake is individually hand made and colors/decoration/size may be slightly different to any picture requests sent to me.
The customer has a responsibility to fully inspect any cake on immediate delivery /collection and, once accepted, I will accept no further liabilty.
