Cancer Support Scotland provides free counselling and complementary therapy to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis, including families and carers.

We offer a warm, friendly environment where anyone affected by cancer can come for one of our extensive range of complementary therapies, aimed at reducing the pain and discomfort caused by cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy and alleviating the stress and anxiety of loved ones.

Our free counselling service allows those diagnosed with cancer, those supporting a loved one through a cancer diagnosis or someone who has lost someone to cancer to talk through their emotions with a qualified counsellor in complete confidentiality.

We also offer a podiatry service, a nailcare service and stress management workshops.

All of our therapists and counsellors are fully qualified and experienced in working with people affected by cancer.

Our main Centre is based in the grounds of Gartnavel Hospital, and anyone is welcome to pop in and speak a member of the team.

We work in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to provide our vital counselling and complementary therapy services in locations throughout Scotland, including Dennistoun, Royston, Glasgow City, Partick, Govan, Johnstone, Drumchapel, Parkhead, Castlemilk, Bathgate, Rothesay, Campbeltown, Bathgate, Livingston, Edinburgh, Drumbrae and Strathbrock.

Although we receive referrals from the Beatson, the NHS and Macmillan we receive no government funding, and therefore rely on the support and generosity of individuals, service users, and companies.
We have a wide variety of fundraising events, including music events, golf days, zipslides and sponsored walks, which helps us raise money to fund our free support services. Please see our website here to view our upcoming events: www.cancersupportscotland.org/events/
