BW Drum Shop is Northampton's specialist Drum Kit Retailer and stocks a mix of new and used drum kits, percussion, cymbals and all drum set accessories.

Customers are provided with expert advice and in-store tuition in a friendly, family atmosphere where all levels of musician are welcome.

The shop has a rich heritage in music retail, with BW Store Teacher Russ having previously run Drum Stores in Northampton and Leicester with late Father Brent and Grandfather Rex Webb .

June 2016 saw the BW Drum Shop open ( named in memory of Brent ) alongside an existing Drum School with the aim of creating a new Drumming Community within the UK.

The BW team consists of Russ, Adam Gammage and Mitch Thomas. Adam and Mitch are very familiar with the Percussion mad Webb family, working alongside them as employees since the early 2000's at the old family stores. Together, they have already been noticed as some of the UK's top salesmen for drums and percussion, winning numerous awards from top distributors and brands along the way including Sabian, Zildjian, Remo, Vic Firth, Premier and Pearl.

After years in music retail, Russ went on to open the areas number 1 drum tuition facility BW Drum School enabling him to deliver a high level of teaching to musicians of all ages and abilities.

Adam has spent the last 7 years focusing on sessions and touring, becoming one of the UKs leading drummers with credits including Rebecca Ferguson, Eliot Sumner, James Arther and Baxter Dury to name but a few.

With the two reuniting in 2016, Mitch felt it was the right time to step back into the team and help create a unique retail experience to suit all UK drummers and percussionists.

Opening in summer 2016 BW Drum Shop is a new and improved retail experience, the store really is a Drum Store " run by drummers for drummers". With the launch of the new website following in early August 2016, the year ahead looks set to be an exciting one for the brand.
