Burns Dance Academy 3.2

Everyone has to start somewhere, and there's no better place to learn to dance than at Burns Dance Academy. A fresh new dance school that students of any age and ability will enjoy being part of.

Talented teacher and professional Choreographer Hayley Burns will be Opening BDA at the beginning of May 2015 at Tye Green Community Centre in Harlow, Essex. Burns Dance Academy seeks to present exceptional standards of teaching that anyone with a passion for dance will appreciate.
Hayley was a student of the late Leo Kersley as a child before leaving to study professionally at Northern Ballet School and London Studio Centre. Her professional dance career has taken her around the globe and included contracts in Portugal, Hong Kong, Norway and Denmark to name a few.

While studying at college, Hayley gained her qualification as a recognised Dance Teacher with the ISTD and is a registered member of Equity. She is also an existing Arts Award Advisor. For the last 12 years Hayley has taught a diverse range of classes for various other dance and stage schools throughout Essex and Hertfordshire and is extremely excited to open a school of her own.

Hayley’s Choreographic skills are varied and well respected in the industry; she has won various competitions and choreographed many productions including Classical Ballets, Contemporary dance works, many Jazz pieces, as well as Pantomimes. Hayley’s most recent work was a full length production of “Snow White”, containing a large cast of dancers, embracing a mixture of age and ability.
