Broadland Chess Club 1.33

Broadland Chess Club meets every Monday and Wednesday @7:30pm The Kings Head, Wroxham Rd, Coltishall, Near Norwich.

The club has on average 33 members, 5 teams, playing in every division of the Norfolk League and also has a team in the national league, and prides itself on having many females, seniors and juniors amongst its numbers.

All members have the opportunity to play in club tournaments and to play in team events, in addition stronger players run regular coaching sessions for all club members.

Last season 2015/16, the club were the Norfolk Division One runners up, the Norfolk & Suffolk Cup runners up and winners of the Williamson cup, and also won a number of East Anglian Chess Union Championship team tournaments at all levels. The club were also Major Plate winners of the English Club Championships.

We pride ourselves on having several members that have won individual tournament, one of our members is the current Norfolk Champion 2016, One of our junior members has played in International Tournaments.
