Bright Futures brings together students (Y9-13) from Norfolk high schools and colleges to develop their skills in
-leadership, mentoring and communication
-problem solving, teamwork and diplomacy
-monitoring and evaluation
-organisation and time management

The programme used real life environmental and resource management contexts as project areas for developing pupils’ knowledge, skills and resilience.

There are exciting opportunities to work with real experts from the renewable energy industry during and after the programme. Students from one of the schools recently involved with Bright Futures successfully planned and help implement the addition of solar cells to their school’s roof – DRASTICALLY saving the school money over the next 20 years!

We are excited to be working with students from the University of East Anglia (UEA) alongside Marshall Scholars from America who will be acting as mentors on the programme as well as running interactive workshops. They will available to support the high school pupils when they return to school with campaign ideas.

“A thoroughly inspiring, motivating, fun course that developed the students far beyond the advertised aims.”
