Botanic Lights 4.35

The award-winning Botanic Lights is set within the beautifully landscaped grounds of Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and night-time visitors are invited to explore the Gardens following a one and a half kilometre trail of colour, light and projection.

As darkness descends, light installations transform popular Garden features such as the Victorian Palm House, The Chinese Hillside and Inverleith House, while illuminating the rich living collection of plants, turning the Garden itself into the story. Botanic Lights 2016 will take visitors on an all-new journey of light around the Garden, exploring regions of the world where the Garden’s plants and trees originate.

In 2015, over 26,000 visitors experienced Botanic Lights and it was voted ‘Best Large Event’ at the Scottish Event Awards.
