Welcome to the page of the Border City Amateur Boxing Association, A not for profit making organization run by local volunteers. Established in July 2015 by coaches Coco, Ian Archibald, Chris Stott, Steve Sanderson, Nick Holden, Mo Galli, Ant Earl, Nathan Armstrong, Rich Stott, Colin Nixon, Paul Jefferson & Freddie Rowland.

We are operating from impressive new premises at the YMCA Shaddon Gateway Centre Carlisle, a multi million pound community resource and community centre. And with over 20 years experience between us, we are actively working with children, adolescents, women and young adults within the local area, with successful programmes, teaching valuable skills and values, including fitness, team building, coordination, footwork, discipline, healthy lifestyle and dietary education.

Boxing will teach you to rely on yourself, to value the input of others, and most importantly to respect both your own skills and those of others. You will develop a level of self confidence that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. You will also find that this is one of the most challenging things that you will ever do.

This new club hopes to bring a new energy to Amateur Boxing in Carlisle and see it grow from strength to strength with trained champions.

So, if you are looking for a challenging, mentally stimulating, physically demanding and just plain fun activity, then you found it ... BOXING!

The club is always on the lookout for funding off local businesses to help buy new equipment, boxers clothing for the season, travelling expenses etc. If you or your business can help our club out, please get in touch with the club official fundraiser Freddie Rowland on 07899 684712 or just send a message through Facebook and a representative from the club will get back to you.
