Dear Diners and Friends,
I would like to share the news that from 22nd March,

Truffles will be going through some exciting changes after 13 years of business.

There are many restaurants and pubs which have opened in the last few years serving home cooked British food and at a very cheap price.

Instead of competing which would involve bringing the quality of my ingredients and service down

I have decided take a much different route that I feel I can put my whole heart into.

As many of you know, I was born in the vibrant city of Bombay, the place which first inspired my love of food.

When I moved to England I was slightly disappointing by the cuisine which I found to be very bland, but I learnt to appreciate the subtlety
of European food so much that I opened an English/French restaurant, and have loved every minute of it.

I maintained my love of Indian cuisine by offering Indian gourmet nights. My version of Indian cuisine for Indian food lovers

Therefore I am turning Truffles into Bombay Braseerie.

The menu here will reflects the cultural diversity of Bombay with influences from Goa, South India as well as the Portuguese

I will offer a few "safe and familiar" options but mainly I will be concentrating on serving mouth-watering,
authentic yet modern dishes whilst maintaining the same extremely high quality preparation
and ingredients for which Truffles has become known. I intend to serve the sort of inspiring and exciting Indian food that could normally only
be found in the exclusive Indian restaurants in the big cities, but will be adding an edge of English/French fusion into the mix too.

Bombay Tiffin A Colonial Tea-Room Serving British food and Indian snack, cakes, desserts and ice cream all day.

For diners who only like English food, I will also be serving some favorites from the old Truffles menu so you are not forgotten.

My friends and diners, I would love your support in my new direction
