Blackwater cottage B and B 2.72

Blackwater Cottage started its life as a 19th Century farm cottage nestled in the Blackdown Hills. It is now our family home where we, Julian and Diana will be there to greet you with our 2 dogs Tarka and Rori and cats Milo and Otto. Tea and homemade biscuits will be provided on arrival around the kitchen table. Cream teas with Diana’s homemade scones are available on prior request.

A Full English breakfast is provided from locally sourced ingredients where possible along with selection of Diana’s homemade preserves. Please inform us of any dietary requirements you have prior to your arrival.

Diana is a trained Cordon Bleu Cook and is happy to offer you a home cooked supper around the kitchen table. Please let us know that morning if you would like join us and the family. £15 per head.

Based between Taunton and Chard in the Blackdown Hills. We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in the small hamlet of Blackwater. There are pubs offering excellent local food and drink, many wonderful walks nearby and historical sites as well as gardens and houses open to the public. We are happy to point you in the direction of some our favourites or alternatively have look at our guide to ‘The Local Area‘ which we are always updating.
