Bits & Bobs is an arts and craft shop, training centre and has a newly opened café – The Shack Café.

Bits & Bobs opened in April 2014 as a general arts and crafts shop and small training centre. We try to encompass a wide range of craft materials, such as art supplies, card making essentials, wool for knitting, crochet and felting, general haberdashery and a large range of beautiful, 100% cotton fabrics available both by the metre and as a fat quarter (for quilting, sewing and crafting). We offer a variety of craft workshop each month with something to suit all ages and capabilities.

Our most popular workshops have been:
Learn to sew/use your own sewing machine,
Learn to knit or crochet,
Tunisian Crochet,
Needlefelting;
Quilting;
Drawing for the Terrified;
And many more….

We have children’s art and craft workshops every school holiday, they are great fun and very popular.

New this May is The Shack Café, (craft, tea and cake go so well together!) The café is located behind Bits & Bobs and has a large sun-deck area for when the weather is fine and a nice and cosy, shabby chic inside dining area. The menu is varied, homemade on the premises and uses locally produced, wholesome ingredients (where possible). Our specials change every few days and we guarantee a warm welcome to all our customers.
We hold a Crafternoon session every Friday 2.30 – 4.30pm, where a number of people come along with their current craft projects and socialise, problem solve and share ideas over tea and cake. You don’t need to book, just come on over.
