Established over 120 years ago, Bishops Castle Town FC are a grassroots community club, currently playing in the Montgomeryshire Football League.

Bishops Castle Town FC were in the Montgomeryshire Football League for 25 years before making the jump to the Mercian League six years ago, to try and progress in the Shropshire football pyramid.

With travelling to games becoming a problem, and more and more players becoming unavailable, Bishops Castle Town FC took the decision to apply to play back in the Montgomeryshire Football League, which after brief resistance, Bishops Castle Town FC were able to do.

Bishops Castle Town FC are extremely proud to have number of junior teams for up and coming footballers to develop. The senior side and junior sides work closely together to ensure the club maintains it's development of the younger generations to come.
